Choose from three different types of suites for your pet’s boarding vacation!

Barking Lot, Inc. offers quality pet boarding. Our rates for vacation guests are determined by the accommodation that you choose for your canine kid. There are no differences in the quality of  personal care received regardless of your suite preference.

Each accommodation serves only as a temporary resting and eating place. Our excellent staff spends as much time as possible with each guest, taking them out for stretching, walking, and playtime every two hours. When the weather isn’t too cool or too hot, our guests are outdoors in his/her private play area to enjoy walking around, playing with toys, a favorite chew bone, or simply to rest and enjoy the activities going on around them. Guests have fresh water at all times, the comfort of industrial size fans for a consistent cool breeze on warmer days, and enjoy music. Private pool time is offered at an additional fee of $10 per session June through September under the supervision of a skilled camp counselor.

 Sample Daily Routine 

• Guests are taken to stretch and potty.

• Each guest is served breakfast in his/her  patio play area (weather permitting).

• Suites are thoroughly sanitized, bedding changed, and evening water dishes sanitized in a dishwater.

• Guests begin a fun-filled day.

• Social dogs leave for day camp( a short walk from the patio) when you add on the service for 7 hours of free play with other guests. Social testing session required.

• Dinner served daily at 4 pm.

• Guests are walked and return to their suites.

• Potty trip offered again prior to bedtime.

Private room with accompanying play yard available for anyone vacationing at White Lake or staying nearby, who would like to spend time with their pet.

Favorite toys or bedding from home are welcomed. We recommend that you send an article, such as a pillow case or shirt,  used or worn by your pet’s favorite human. Many of our canine camp guests are reassured by the comforting scent at bedtime.

Create a Custom Package For Your Canine Kid

Each guest is given a visual observation on the day of check–in by a camp counselor. If fleas and/or flea dirt is detected on your pet we will ask that you purchase a CAPSTAR and administer to your pet. A bath, at owner’s expense, will also be required.

Please fill out the boarding reservation form then telephone us at 910-862-7387 to make your reservation. We request a copy of your pet’s vaccine records and reserve the right to telephone your veterinarian to confirm vaccinations or to obtain any other information pertinent to your pet’s health that may be necessary for his/her stay with us.

Food

Barking Lot, Inc. serves premium Eukanuba, Iams and Eagle Brand foods. Upon request and for an additional fee, we make fresh canine style chicken & rice (no sodium or chicken broth) which may be purchased by the day for your pet.

If your pet has digestive concerns we recommend that you bring with you enough food + one serving of your pet’s regular diet. Please prepackage this food into daily requirements, we feed our pets twice daily. Each bag should contain your pet’s name, the name of the food, and am for morning meal, pm for early evening meal. The extra bag of food is in case your trip is delayed and an extra meal is required.
